    I remember my Dadi saving the phuhur for us..because we used to actually argue over portions of puhur !

    Meanwhile, happy to see this blog of yours too.
    I was told about Haak by a Kashmiri friend and I thought it sounded strangely similar to what we eat in Andhra " Batchala" which is Malabar Spinach, its a vine and not really a spinach…so wanted to see what it looked like! Haak is more Collard greens maybe?

    Are you based in J/K, was planning a visit.

  3. I guess Haak would be Collard. Batchala seems interesting. No, I am not based in Kashmir, my father is right now. I am planning to visit sometime later this year.
